Year 9 pupils and the Gardening Club have been planting tree saplings given to the school from the Woodland Trust. The Woodland Trust are a registered conservation charity that campaign to protect, restore and create woodlands throughout the UK.
They sent us saplings of Birch, Crab Apple, Cherry and Rowan trees to plant in the school grounds which we were excited to plant enriching the landscape of the school and promoting the benefits of natural woodlands for future generations.
This was perfect timing for Year 9 as they were learning about rainforests in Geography with Mr O’Brainoin 🌳🌳🌳www.woodlandtrust.org.uk
