GCSE Appeals

Pupils cannot lodge an appeal directly with CCEA.  All appeals must be made via the school and can only be made on the following grounds:

  • CCEA used the wrong data to calculate the grade
  • CCEA allocated the wrong grade through an administrative error
  • CCEA communicated the wrong grade

All centre assessed grades submitted to CCEA were based on evidence held in the school for each pupil and class.  Individual grades and rank order underwent a robust standardisation process and were ultimately signed off by the school Principal.  If you wish to appeal a grade you have received, please contact the school in the first instance.
