Subject Info
In our modern world, we are constantly bombarded with a range of messages across numerous media platforms, often giving us many different competing messages. In Media Studies, we teach how these messages are constructed, for what purposes, and how we can deconstruct them.
Media Studies covers a range of topics, looking in detail at the music industry, advertising, film, television, social media and radio in depth, giving students the opportunity to analyse existing media texts and design their own in a range of forms.
