Today our Senior football team opened with a win against a talented Markethill High School squad.
Lead by captain Toni Wroblowski, Brownlow hustled and harried for every ball in a thoroughly entertaining game that was filled with chances for both teams. There was plenty of passion on show as well with some fierce tackles being made.
Brownlow got the only goal of the game mid way through the second half. Wroblowski played a delightful free kick high over the Markethill defence and debutant Tomas Sustek controlled well in the box and fired home.
Special mention to Morgan Gillis and Imran Aleem. Two year 10 boys playing up two levels in the Year 12 team.
