Information Letter

Parents/Guardians – the letter below has, today, been sent home with your child(ren).  Please also check your registered email address this week for instructions on downloading a Parent App that we will be introducing.  This will be used to communicate with parents/guardians regarding attendance, behaviour, reports etc.

Visitors to School
In order to maintain high standards of hygiene and protect the health and safety of our pupils and staff, parents should not call at school unless they have a pre-arranged appointment. If a pupil has to leave school for an appointment during the school day, parents should remain in their car and phone the school to let us know they are there. The pupil will then be sent out.

School Uniform
Pupils were permitted to wear their own track suits to school until 30th September. However, to give parents more time to purchase the school track suit and PE kit, this was extended to the half term break. Pupils should now be wearing their PE kit and tracksuit to school on days when they have PE. Black leggings can be worn below the school shorts or skort. On other days, full school uniform, including black shoes, should be worn.

If you require items of school PE kit, these can be ordered using the link below:

Pupil Arrival to School
Pupils should arrive at school between 8:45am – 9:00am each morning. They should enter the school through their allocated year group door. Pupils arriving between 9:00am – 9:10am should enter school through the assembly hall door where their name will be recorded, prior to going to registration class. Pupils arriving after 9:10 should enter school through the main school door where they will be recorded as being late. Please ensure all pupils arrive punctually to school.

Parents App
In the coming days you will receive an email to your registered address regarding a new parent app. Instructions on downloading the app etc. will be provided – please check your email.

Reminder – 12th November is KS4 mentoring day. Due to current circumstances, appointments will be via Zoom. Pupils should not attend school on this date.

Yours faithfully
Mrs N Stevenson
