Further to the guidance released by the Department of Education yesterday evening, face coverings will be required for all pupils and staff (unless exempt due to medical reasons) in communal areas in school from Monday 31st August 2020. Face coverings are also required to be worn on school and public transport. Whilst wearing face coverings in classes is not currently mandatory, due to the significant number of pupils and staff who are clinically vulnerable, we would strongly encourage pupils and staff to wear a face covering in class. The health and safety of our pupils and staff remains our priority and we would really appreciate the support of parents and carers with this.
