Change To End Of Term Plans

There has been a few changes to the end of term plans. Please see the letter below which went out to parents today:

Dear Parent / Guardian

This has been a very challenging term for pupils, staff and parents. However, we have managed to limit the number of positive cases of COVID 19 within our school community and thankfully we have been able to keep our school open. Whilst we have had to maintain class bubbles for our junior pupils we have tried to minimise the disruption to learning for all our pupils.

I understand many parents are concerned about sending children to school in case their child is identified as a close contact and would therefore have to isolate over Christmas. I have therefore made a few changes to the remainder of this week, please see below:

Wednesday 16th December

This is the last day of exams for our pupils. Pupils finish school after their last exam. Any pupils who have been unable to attend school for the Christmas exams should access their exam papers on the subject Google Classroom and submit them to their subject teachers.

Thursday 17th December

Pupils can either attend school until 12:00 or attend their form class via Google Classroom. Pupils will be able to watch the school’s virtual Carol Service. If pupils are in school or login to their Google Classroom (form class) they will be marked present.

Friday 18th December

The pupil holiday on 31/3/2021 will be moved to Friday 18th December. Therefore, school will be closed for all pupils and staff.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support in what has been the most challenging year. I wish you and your families a very happy Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year.

Yours faithfully

Mrs N Stevenson
Principal
